Next question(s), now I have a pair of these, is which way is UP? Other than the small arrow on the PCB (first photo, top centre) what polarization will that give? Both panels will be secured to some square aluminium tube, along one edge. This then conveniently bolts to my surveyors tripod for /P use.
Are all microwave bands when used for narrow band and for DATV, assumed to use horizontal..... or vertical polarisation?
Half of the feedlines to the patch aerials have little tabs on them. I'd guess (from reading about 'snowflaking' amplifier lines to improve the match at different frequencies) that this is what their role is. In its original application I'd hazard a guess that it did possibly use two close but different frequencies.
SUggestions very welcome.
Gareth
