Not really ATV ..but thought that someone might have an answer!!
A friend has a 'Bird Box Camera' with standard analogue video available via hard wired.
He would like to view / store images on his network.
Should he buy a low light IP camera ? or is there a magic box to convert the baseband video to an IP Wifi address
readily available?

I have one of these for video to IP conversion https://www.axis.com/en-gb/products/axis-m70-series
but probably better and cheaper to simply get an IP camera and dump the analog one.

Maybe a bit overkill, but there are many DVRs available on Amazon (designed for CCTV), that will accept analogue cameras and allow access via IP. They will also handle the recording of the video too.
