I have an old piece of custom made kit ex-BBC that does a variety of colour bars (very accurate), background colour with pan pot and also encodes RGB to PAL. Has genlock and various outputs like black and burst, subcarrier and an 8 pin sync connector. Makes a very useful generator. Beautifully made with ovened 4.43 MHz oscillator etc. I want to try and extract Y/C from the colour coder and feed out separately (s-video).
Unfortunately I can't trace the encoder chip details anywhere, so does anyone know the HA11720 or has it faded into history?
