Hi Dave

I have the paper copies of ' The Slow Scan Companion' and 'The best of CQ-TV' (1986) which are in good condition and could be scanned. If anyone can scan them and you need to borrow them I aim to be at Newark on Friday and could bring them.

A little off topic but while on the topic of archived BATC material. I noted the following gaps in the CQTV archive issues
40 to 80
86 to 160
173 to 179
I have all these in PDF if there missing.

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the offer but we do have them and all that's missing is the time / volunteers to upload them!
Similarly the index on the wiki needs completing - https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Index_of_articles - and each issue header linking back to the download copy in the archive....

Our thanks to everyone who has answered the call for archive copies of ATV books...Ian has disassembled and scanned three more editions and they are now safe on digital storage. Residing in the CQ-DATV library and can be downloaded as PDF files. They are old, the chips may be obsolete and any PCB's long gone, but they are part of the spirit of ATV https://www.cq-datv.mobi/ebooks.php

Best of CQ-TV book 1
Ok I think that's the last of the books that has dropped through Ian's letter box for scanning. Pleased to see that so many of you still have this 80's memorabilia. The effort that the people put into both designing the hardware, drafting and technical descriptions, to say nothing of the compiling and proof reading, was not wasted.

Interesting to read in the best of CQ-TV that our numbers were up at 2500 back then. CQ-DATV downloads per issue vary but several issues have passed the 10,000 mark. So we must be doing something right in producing an electronic magazine and distributing it free...This must be the formula for the future of ATV.

We will get your books returned in the next few days and once again thank you and enjoy your reading at https://www.cq-datv.mobi/ebooks.php
