They are very old and I hate to see them lost forever as I worked very hard to produce them
Most of them have been scanned and can be downloaded from https://www.cq-datv.mobi/ebooks.php I hope that helps

Thanks Trevor

I agree - I still refer to them (and still have the Test Card generator in use).

I think that we have them all here: https://batc.org.uk/atv-handbooks/

If there are any missing, please let me know.

Thanks

Dave

That's one I don't have and I had forgotten about it when I compiled my list. It doesn't seem to be available from either of the sources I gave.

Dave.

Thanks to all of those who have helped with .pdf copies so far. Now published at https://batc.org.uk/atv-handbooks/

I have been unable to find .pdf copies of
  • Amateur Television. Pub. 1976.
  • Television for Amateurs. Pub. 1983.
  • The Best of CQ-TV. Pub. 1986.
  • The Best of CQ-TV Vol. 2. Pub. 1989.
  • The Amateur Television Compendium. Pub. 1989.
  • The Slow Scan Companion. Pub. 1987.
Does anybody have them in pdf form, or a form that could be converted to .pdf?

Dave,

I'm pretty sure I have copies of TV for amateurs and the ATV Compendium, somewhere - next time I'm able to get to my 'archive', I'll try to dig them out and scan them to PDF, if no-one else beats me to it :)

John
