Home Constructed TV camera, Who made it??

Post by G8GQS » Wed Jul 25, 2018 8:23 pm

I seem to be the depository of old cameras as part of the TVcameramuseum, and this one was given to me earlier this year.

The Question is who made it?? I guess the date to be late 1960s ish.

Unfortunately the internals are missing but it seems a pity not to record it's history.

Ge
Way back in the 60 s there was a 7 valve camera in CQ TV. The late G3ILD constructed one. I have photos of his transmissions. B&W of course.
I constructed a transistorised one I think the article was in PW. Still have the remains of it. Has been cannibalised.
Any Help?

In the late 60's / early 70's G3UIT Brian Seedle built a solid state TV camera as I saw it in his shack. No idea if this is the same one though - but it was very nicely built as I recall.

This was in Lytham St.Annes Lancs and he was active on 70cm ATV.

As I recall Brian's had side panels which folded down to expose the circuit boards.
