LA72912V

Post by gordon » Mon Jun 25, 2018 3:44 pm

Hi,

I have been whiling away a few hours thinking of an easy way to transmit video with a laser. That done, during my research I came across the above chip.Has anyone any experience in using the LA72912V video modulator/demodulator. It looks as if it would make an easy way to build both an FM transmitter and receiver. I would guess that this , or a similar chip, is used in FPV equipment.

Looks an interesting chip 11MHz carrier and about 2MHz bandwidth. I believe they are used in video doorbells etc, so may be useful for ATV
Sadly my design skills are none existant I leave that to the Electronics boffins we have in BATC.
Im sure someone will be along shortly with a possible use or no use answer :D
