146MHz video on Ofcom website

Post by g8gtz » Wed Jul 26, 2017 6:52 pm

John G4SWX (RSGB VHF manager) recently presented to Ofcom's Business Radio user group, using slides provided by the BATC, on the 146MHz RB-TV work the UK ATV community has been doing

Ofcom were particularly impressed by the video quality of the 146 MHz 333Ks transmissions by G7JTT/p using a Portsdown and Rpi camera (received by G8GTZ/P) and made a special edited version which they have placed on their website and Youtube channel!

This is important as it shows Ofcom understand the experiments and developments the ATV community are doing - something not seen in many other areas of Amateur Radio :-)

Click for the pull down menu next to 'Brig Meeting 30th June 2017' for the actual slides and video.

Well done to everyone involved in RB-TV and particularly to Dave for showing what the well dressed amateur should be wearing when out /p in 2017!
