G7MRF Test card generator

Post by M1PRO » Wed Jul 12, 2017 10:06 pm

Hi All,
As im plodding along with my ATV projects that are nearly finished. I have two G7MRF Test card generators both are programmed with other person callsign.

I have a CD that was supplied with one of the units I bought.

Is there anyone out there who be willing to help me re program them. Be it meet up or Im willing to post the IC's and disc.

If anyone can help me out I would be very grateful.

Thanks Jason

I can't find any reference to it on the web. Which chips does it use?

The IC's are marked as m5l2764k & D2732A-2

Windowed eproms I believe. I think I can still program those. Is it possible to upload the contents of the CD somewhere, as a first step?

Hi thanks for the reply.

Uploading to a shared point is beyond me LOL

If you ok with the suggestion, could I send you the eproms and disk and see what you make of it?

Thanks

Jason

The G7MRF Testcard generator is the Cropredy test card generator using eproms for the testcard.
the program to create the cards is called cropedit it is in the download section.

Yes go ahead. I'm QTHR everywhere, although the postcode is CH rather than L if the source is very old.

Thanks Mark.

>> An IBM or compatible computer, DOS 3.0 or later,
>> A mouse and standard (int33) driver software,
>> A VGA or SVGA monitor.

It'll be interesting to see if I can find anything it will run on.

Use BinHex.com Dos program to convert to a hex file for writing to the eprom.
