Thanks Dave, I don't have access to RadCom unfortunately.

Am puzzled at the dearth of designs, or even commerical products. Kuhne seems to be the only one.

I've just updated the wiki page with a (non copyright) version of the pre-amp described in the Rad Com article.

https://wiki.batc.org.uk/5.6_GHz#Receive_Pre-amplifiers

The mods are easy - you can cut the original PCB with scissors and you get 4 devices on every PCB you buy from Franco so can always make another one if you mess up the first time!

Anyone want a board (or several)? He's got a MOQ of 24 euros. Don't mind buying 4 (16 chances of making a working amp...) but not 10.....
Happy to front a 'group buy', just post on here and we can progress....

Hi Gareth,

I would be interested in 5 Franco boards if you are placing an order.

Buying 12 boards gets over the MOQ but delivery (DHL Express the only option) takes it up to £36 then VAT at 22% gets to £44!! so £3.67 a board plus an envelope and second class delivery (£1.06 first class last time).

How much are we prepared to pay?

COnfirmation of numbers and intent needed before I spend that much.....

Let me know...

From my perspective around £4 per board total is probably the limit. If DHL is the only delivery option then it really needs a larger quantity of boards to make it worthwhile.

To confirm, an order of three is fine for me Gareth.
