Tatung Early bird Conversion

I was wondering if anyone on here has converted a tatung early bird BSB box. I have found the article from CQ-TV 176 written by G8MNY, but the components for removal or replacement do not seem to match the numbers on the article. It's about to find itself ejected out of the shack window.

Any help would be appreciated.
