Hi

Following the very successful convention last October I'm pleased to announce that the BATC will be organising a convention in 2013 over the weekend of October 26th and 27th. This will be held at the premises of Finningley Amateur Radio Society (http://www.g0ghk.co.uk/) at Robin Hood Airport, home of XH558 Vulcan bomber, near Doncaster in Yorkshire. (Yes it's up north ;-)

We envisage a similar style to last years event with a 2 day lecture program, demonstrations by clubs and members and a limited number of selected traders.
Full details will be available in a couple of months but there is accomodation nearby and whilst there is NOT a BATC BGM, it is likely we will hold a convention dinner on the Saturday night.

Right now we would like to hear from you on what you would like to see happen over the weekend and particularly what topics the talks should cover. Even better, we would like volounteers to give the talks ;-)

So put the date in your diary and book the mini bus for your group ;-) More news later, but comments please.

Best 73

No ideas for talks or demos yet!!

Could be quite a boring weekend...

Still I'm told there's really good pub close by ;-)
