Demographics

Greetings,
Considering the BATC members, would it be possible to generate some
demographics? Perhaps the board keeps some data? Perhaps we can
poll the membership to establish a baseline and trends in the hobby?
I joined the BATC (the first time) as a student in the UK, and let my
membership and UK callsign expire after moving to the USA in the early
1980s.
I rejoined the BATC several years ago, and looked forward
to reading CQ-TV quarterly again! The articles that I enjoy reading
were a bit sparse (so I wrote several that were published in CQ-TV).
Even though the world had email, which is much easier than
communicating via the postal service, I got very little feedback
(statistically "zero"...) on my work. I even suggested that the
BATC club start an on-line forum to bring it into the 21st Century.
Perhaps the club has evolved to a different plane? One where
I don't really know the member's habits and interests?
Sorry if this topic has already been hashed over - I've just
discovered the forums and signed up.
Comments Welcome!
