Early TV from cd kit

Hi all

I am new here, so hello everyone.

A number of years back I saw an advert for a kit that used an LED to create a image from a supplied CD. The idea was that the audio from the CD was fed in to the kit and from that an early TV show could be 'watched'. I think it was advertised in 'Television' magazine.

Does anyone know where this kit can be bought from. I kept meaning to order it when I saw it, but never got around to it.

Update: I think that it uses a Nipkow disc.
