Fancy a try at running a DATV net?

Post by radiogareth » Thu Jul 10, 2025 7:53 am

As has been mentioned on air and in the latest CQ-TV, it would be useful if there were a few people who could run the Thursday evening QO-100 net on an occasional or rota basis. As viewers and participants have seen, I stand in on occasion and with Martin G4FKK standing down as chairman I'm filling the gap for the short term. I will also have occasional 'not available' days especially until the winter, so some helpers would be welcome :-)
No special skills are required, just a reliable station set-up, ideally direct RX (I use either my Ryde or PD4 rather than the stream due to the extra delay) and enough monitor area to view the chat and band occupancy. I use Rob's M0DTS QO-100 WB Quicktune for both.
If you fancy a go pop a message on here, email a committee member or find me on QRZ.com
Gareth
