Low noise 3.3V LDO to replace ADP150 for 3.6GHz RF circuit

Post by amosfuegel » Thu Jul 03, 2025 3:26 am

Hi all, I need a low noise 3.3V LDO to replace ADP150 (same footprint) because the noise at 3.6 GHz 100 kHz away from the carrier is too high, low ESR capacitors do not improve, but reducing VCC to ~4V reduces the noise by ~10 dB; the current logic uses dip switches to select frequency in 100 kHz units, and when the switch is open (or not engaged) it is pulled up to logic '1' by the pull-up resistor.

Anyone have any information? Thanks.
