Hi
The March 2023 Issue of Electron magazine (the Dutch equivalent of RadCom) had this example card in it to be handed out during portable operation. It occurred to me that a slightly revised card for Amateur TV portable operation would be very useful.
Are there any volunteers to produce an ATV-themed version, that we could possibly publish in CQ-TV (closing date 12 March!)?
Thanks
Dave G8GKQ

Re: Explanation Card for Portable Operation
Some years ago, in the Netherlands, I made a folded ATV leaflet for the VERON. These printed leaflets were originally intended to promote ATV activity and could be ordered for free.
However, it is used many times in the field.
“May I ask you what you are doing?” and they get this brochure: "Questions will be answered later" (and "please do not stand in front of the dish"
).
Even accidentally visiting radio amateurs even did not know much about ATV (at that time).
The (Dutch) leaflet is still available and could also be downloaded: https://www.veron.nl/wp-content/uploads ... ie-ATV.pdf
Best regards,
Chris PA3CRX
