Hello
As a new BATC member living in the Wolver'ampton ATV desert, what I would really like is to visit another member's Shack in order to see how things are done and get some help. The guides, Wiki and magazine are really good but I have always learned a lot from e.g. wise clubmates.
I'd like to test my Minitiouner and get my Portsdown Pi transmitter working. The former responds OK to 437MHz FM being keyed up. Upconverter is probably working! The latter is going white screen on first transmit and reporting features not functioning on the SSH screen.

My second wish is to join one of you on Saturday 11th March for Activity weekend as an assistant or apprentice. For example the Clee hills in Shropshire or somewhere in Staffordshire would be fine. As a SOTA Mountain Goat I think it's evident that I like operating radio outdoors. Any offers?
