Has there been any change to the coverage area from the original proposed coverage map? http://www.gb3en.org.uk/covmap.gif

Any chance of a 70cm input? I doubt I can get to it on 23cm.

Do you have an accurate locator and height above the ground? I did a quick 23cm coverage plot based on 10m antenna height. Probably anything out to yellow.

Be interesting to see if I could get in from the Dunstable Downs rally where I'll be on the BATC stand. I can take 70 cm and 23 if there is a chance :-)

I would think so. Getting in is one thing, receiving it another.

Edit found the locator IO91XP07JE and raised antenna height to 30m.

GB3EN has had a Ryde input since 2021, receiving 333KS/s, 1MS/s 4MS/s.
Antenna height is about 50m above ground.
It was received by Justin at GB3JV repeater (21 miles) with an antenna pointing west, the heading to EN is north!

I think it would not be possible from the Dunstable Downs rally, although Stockwood Park is very high, there are some hills in the way but don't let that stop you from trying!
I assumed a 10m mast !

Thanks for the updated map Mike. That looks like too much of a stretch for my location, but I do remember receiving GB3EN in the past (a very long time ago...), so maybe it's still worth a try.

No sign of it here in IO91IO unfortunately, though I can receive GB3TV.

Well, hills or not I can take a 23cm 37ele/80W PA to try with, height will be about 5m at Stockwell park. + 70cms 14 ele/150W @ 4m to try GB3TV and GB3JV plus any other likely paths.
As its the May activity weekend anyway.....
