Free MPEG Digital Amateur TV Test Card generator

Hi All,

Just uploaded a quick and dirty animated MPEG test card generator, see http://www.idesignz.org/DATV_test_card/FTP.zip

Also included is a sample batch file output as well as one of the generated GIF files.

It is all extremely slow, but obvious and simple. You only need to use it once to generate the source GIF images.

Source code has instructions.

I would love someone to replace all of my magic numbers with variables to make it more flexible and to carry the project forwards.

MPEG encoding is currently done on a Linux Machine.

Samples are for SD PAL, but should not be difficult to change to NTSC video rates.

Please post any samples that you create along with updates.
