Another success on 146.5MHz

Just managed a contact with Martin G4FKK using our vertical co-linears. Not a LOS path and one we have relatively easily worked in the past using beams both ends. Lock was intermittent but It opens up a potential for much more usage of our NOVs and a way of increasing participation. Give it a go and please add to this thread :-)

Nice job, What was the power and distance?

On the mainland we are not allowed to work above 145.999
And on 144.6 its really crowded wit digital modes and SSTV.

But occasional we do a 66 or even 125 KS and always great.
I am now focusing on 6M.
We have lots of wind generators causing lots of fading and this makes datv on 70 or 23 dificult.

We hope better results on 6M..

Are the windmills actually causing fading or are they causing short enhancements?
