Raspberry Pi AI Kit - Video Encoder?

Raspberry Pi have just released an AI Kit which works with the Raspberry Pi 5. https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/raspbe ... now-at-70/
There is clearly potential for it to be repurposed as a very capable H265 (or even H266) video encoder for ATV transmissions. However, I would be totally out of my depth trying to write the code from scratch.
If someone else was able to write the video encoding software (it might use a port of ffmpeg or gstreamer), I would be very pleased to integrate it into the Portsdown 5.
