I feel I have to mention the AMX DVX 3155HD which is now around on Ebay for £40 or so. This is due to it originally needing Adobe Flash to be controlled from a web page. Now you can install a HDML 5 web control program and use this to control it.
It takes upto 10 inputs which can be a mixture of HDMI, composite, component and DVI and 4 outputs which are HDMI.
Here are some links to information:

I have three now! and also other boxes that can be connected to these that send or receive HD video over a LAN cable.

Here is a brief cat video which also contains a demo of the AMX DVX3155HD and it's setup!

If you started the 3155HD and the display came up with amplifier volume that is good.
Next you push the Status button and then the Down button until it shows you the IP address of the unit. If the address is in your LAN address range then that is the simple start.
If the address is not in your LAN address range you need to adjust your router to the same address range as the AMX. This may seem extreme but once you have done that and restarted your computer you will be able to connect to the 3155's web page. Here you reset it to factory defaults. Then you will have to reset the address range of your router to your previous values.
If you have an old router spare, you could just connect your computer and 3155 to that and do the above.
Once you can talk to your AMX DVX3155HD you will have to download from the web the new control program, extract it and FTP it to the 3155 as per the instructions on that web page. One tip is that the 3155 takes a long time to do the updating etc. so be patient!

Hope this helps...
