DVB-S2 Capture the Flag

Something a little different for a Monday morning related to digital television if you want a challenge or as an interesting read.
Daniel Estévez published a walkthrough on his blog for a Capture the Flag challenge within a DVB-S2 signal recording he created for the GNU Radio Conference.

I found it a really fun read as he describes in detail how he created the capture along with the difficulties encountered and overcome to create a challenge with so many embedded flags requiring varying skills to extract. It demonstrates the variety of things that can be included within DVB-S2 signals and encourages the use by radio amateurs of these.
