VMIX versus OBS, pros and cons please.

A couple of things with OBS bug me greatly. If I create a slide show in OBS I have to limit the image resolutions of the photos otherwise there's a pitiful limit on how many sequence before it cuts off the following ones and goes back to the start. Googling shows this a common complaint seemingly without any resolution (pardon the pun 
)
Secondly there appears no way to create a music background play list that automatically sequences through, in the background.
So I am wondering if VMIX has these issues and what the pros and cons of it are generally. Thanks.
