Hello,

A new version of DATV-Easy 2.09 is in preparation:
- modification reset watchguard and ARDUINO program
- Add QO100 rx frequency display
- Added rolloff 0.15
- Choice of squared or not Watts measurements in param.ini file
- Modification "Automatic image" in "All automatic" for audio also (memorization)
- Modification PTT button > remains engaged regardless of Stop
- auto PCR threshold setting
- reset AD9361 Pluto on exit
- application of new parameters by pressing "START +" again

To output a udp stream for the Portsdown FreeStreamCoder is sufficient because DATV-Easy allows you to drive the Lime mini directly via USB.

>> I just upgraded FreeStreamCoder 2.90 with the same settings as DATV-Easy.

Dominique,

Love your software.
Can you also make it possible to disable video, so you only have audio? Then you can have clear audio on very low symbolrates. Another request I have is a possibility to monitor the WB bandscope on the BATC scanner to make sure the selected frequency is not occupied when you press the transmit button.

I have found that FreeStreamCoder v2.80 and later is not compatible with a Pluto SDR connected to a Portsdown 4.

I'm using OBS + VirtualCam with FreeStreamCoder to send IPTS to the Portsdown.

I've built from scratch a second Porstdown 4 with different hardware connected to a new Pluto and got the same results. The same settings were used for all tests.

The LIme SDR is fine with any version of FreeStreamCoder but if you use v2.80 or v2.90 it crashes the Pluto which then needs a reboot.

Hopefully the above might save someone some time!

Useful warning. To work around, why not simply send the IPTS to the Pluto directly? There is no need for the PD4 to be in the loop.

Tried that; worked OK direct from OBS but not via FreeStreamCoder.

Might be because I was using Ethernet to connect to the Pluto via the OTG port. I went that route as I also have a Lime Mini in the same box and at the time that was the only way to make both SDRs work together. Langstone is used too hence the PD4/Pluto combination.
