DATV-Easy V2.00

Post by F1EJP » Wed Aug 10, 2022 9:00 pm

Hi there,

New version compatible with LimeSDR mini, PlutoSDR with manufacturer firmware and Pluto with F5OEO firmware.
Currently being tested on F5OEO "perseverance" firmware 2021 03 03 ;)

>> No more need to open several software at the same time and coder or external machine everything is integrated:

• H265 coding with calculations
• Send Control replaces Pluto's web interface with a browser.
• UDP direct output to replace FreeStreamCoder on the latest F5OEO firmwares (in Ethernet)
• Relay control
• Monitoring
• Extension of frequencies from 10 to 6000 MHz
• Added Default frequency of 15 fsp
• Check “All Automatic” to choose all automatic or manual definition and image frequency.
• Can receive external frequency and SR commands via UDP request for use with software such as the longmynd client.
• Added manual PTT control of relays or digital outputs.

Coming soon to beta testers

Thank you Dominique! Please, with the greatest respect, ensure your excellent software works with firmware that supposts the Rev C Plutos, and that the enabling of an external reference frequency is supported by that firmware.

0303 works fine for me with an ffmpeg script, but requires a patch to enable an external reference to be commanded and to work. I am pretty sure a good few users have an external reference connected to Rev C Plutos, but its doing nothing. Analog Devices 0.35 firmware does of course support the external reference switching. I look forward to the new release from you.

Thanks again for your contributions to the hobby, it's very much appreciated :)

Hello Basil,
This version can use the F5OEO firmware but does not replace its operation but just replaces the web url interface commands and generates the mpeg-ts UDP stream.
So there should be no problem with Pluto versions and patches.

OBS update does not support virtual camera!

Post by g4saq » Thu Sep 08, 2022 9:53 am

Just updated everything in preparation for tonight's net. The latest OBS update (28.0.1 64bit Win 10) does not support the virtual cam plugin! Of course, we used this because it produces audio as well, which the OBS in-built virtual cam did not.
I am using DATV-Easy by F1EJP and I tried to use OBS in-built virtual cam but DATV-Easy does not recognize it. I have posted on Viva TV forum in the hope that Dominique may be able to help.

Russ, always worth clicking on the 'active topics' tab...as 'new posts' seems to reset at least once a day so stuff vanishes.....

@F1EJP

Is it possible to add a 4k resolution to your software?
