Hi,
I am using OBS 27.1.3 (64 bit) Recording output with no problem
The Video encoding parameters have been using are “profile=main level=auto rc=cbr_hq rc-lookahead=10 surfaces=2”
All was working very well.
If I update OBS to latest version get problems.
Now when start recording I get the error “Failed to open video codec: invalid argument.”
If I remove the Video encoding parameters recording will start with errors on ADAM PLUTO DVB Analyser.
I am using ISOGRB Patch V2
My PC
Graphic Card NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 Ti
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700 @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GH
16.0 GB (15.6 GB usable)
If I reinstall 27.1.3 (64 bit) all starts working as before.
I have included a OBS screen grab of my settings.

Re: OBS UPDATE PROBLEM
Hi Martin
I am not sure why you are still using OBS record. It is very limited and doesn't produce good results. You are much better off with the virtual camera plugin and a script or the F1EJP software.
Mike
Your error is the codec. You might find it has changed name or something.

Re: OBS UPDATE PROBLEM
Hi Mike,
Most people using virtual camera plugin and a script and the F1EJP software have changing sound sink problems.
I don't get this problem.

Re: OBS UPDATE PROBLEM
I know, but you end up with much poorer video as a result. I really don't recommend OBS record. Anyway, it can't use your codec for whatever reason. Possibly it doesn't like the parameters it is being sent.
