Sub titel

Post by Pa3fbx » Thu Jan 06, 2022 9:29 pm

Hi Guy's
Got a play about with sub titels in my transmission.

There is a nice video about putting subtitels in OBS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TQ9f1iOHrQ

https://webcaptioner.com/captioner/
The program witch is free of use and works almost instantly and no delays.
It needs clear and good audio without to much noise..

It also describes a plugin with will produce a CC button on your receive channel.
After that you need to setup a translations via and Google API witch is not free of charge...

Than it takes up to 15 seconds before you get it translated.

This is so fare i got it working...

Feel free to improve ..

The general idea is a multi lingual solution for those who cannot speak 100 different languages...
But also making this hobby available for the hearing disables witch we all just might up eventually.

Good article here for speech to text, using a pi zero.
