Can anyone recommend a small (e.g. 5", max 7") freestanding HDMI monitor. I am looking for something small just to sit on a shelf to keep any eye on activity on our local repeater.
Thank you

Hi,
Have a look at ebay:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/133901838755?ep ... Swn2JdGycB
https://www.ebay.de/itm/224051843873?_t ... BM_smw4L1f
Picture quality is not the best possible, but just for checking acitvity ok.
I am using an older version as control monitor for my DATV-playout. Have a look at CQ-TV 272 page 33.

Danke für die Infos Rainer; ich werde die eBay Links und CQ-TV 272 mal anschauen. Wie Du sagst, ist Bild Qualität nicht der wichtiges Punkt.

I picked up one of these for a bargain price, I'm very impressed with it but far better spec that you need I suspect.

What about using an old laptop screen with a replacement driver board?

I find the 10in to be more usable HDMI 1080 and Below, BNC RCA USB In, run off 12v as most do.
Check out Ebay, Amazon and ALI express all the local second hand Places etc
Just have to find the price that is compatible with you wallet
Cheers

I have found the Eyoyo 7 Inch monitor very good at a reasonable price
For a 16:9 1280x800 and good viewing angle too
