Great Dominique,

It looks great but when and where could we find the tool for beta testing?

Best regards
Benno PA3FBX.

Hello,
today I tried to send with Pluto DVB-T QPSK FEC 2/3 with version 1.19.
I see a signal in the spectrum that looks very much like DVB-T.
But no constellation image can be seen.

With my other programs ( DATV-Express ) or devices ( PD4 ) together with Pluto
I can see my 4 points for QPSK very well.

Has anyone really gotten a DVB-T signal with this program?

Which constellation were you looking at? There are very many of them in DVB-T. I would be interested to know if you can look at the various OFDM carriers individually.

Incidentally, the codec and mode are somewhat decoupled, DATV easy is sending a transport stream, the Pluto is doing the DVB-T part.

Hi,

with the software from F1EJP on TX side I have seen a kind of rhombus but not very clear, at least locally.

With my GNU Radio as RX I see a very clear square for QPSK ( 4 dots ) , or 16 for 16APSK and 64 for 64 APSK
when using DATV-Express with PLUTO or also PD4 with PLUTO.

You cannot see the individual approximately 1700 carriers.
If you are interested in the GNU radio solution for RTL stick, I have all necessary
things on my Google drop box.

That's interesting Frank. I have sent DVB-T with the Pluto across my shack successfully, but not in a while. Maybe there is a difference between symbol rates (sorry bandwidth) or number of carriers between your DATV-Express signal and the Pluto one? Aalso you did not state the rate, I am sure you do not need reminding the Pluto does not do high symbol rates.

Hi,

my tests were all in 2K mode, what means 1705 carriers.
And also all with PLUTO, DATV-Express with PLUTO and PD4 with PLUTO.
The SR were from 150K up to 333K.

What was interesting today, with GNU Radio on frequencies slightly off the right frequency
I get the same constellation picture like I get when using the EASY DATV program ( Rhombus ).
This was with my own programs ( DATV Express & PD4 with PLUTO ).

But it is not possible to get the right picture ( 4 dots square ) by changing the frequency of the
GNU RX when transmitting with the EASY DATV.

Also other OMs got the same results ( Poll, Robert, Reinhard ), there must be an issue with modulator
used by F1EJP.
