Re: New soft DATV-Easy V1.0 >> V1.24
I got finally some extra time to invest in testing this version.
Yes it works with any F5OEO version (the last few need to be in rtmp mode)
It also work with the 2020 versions as they all could work with RTMP without any changes.
It's also works with IP over network.
The only bug yet found is when any pluto is connected to USB it will Always use that Pluto first.
When using the networked pluto's you can set the ip number and it will used that pluto (i have 3 on network.. sorry )
So big improvement where as i can use now any firmware and any connection.
Bug report. when 1 pluto on USB than no other pluto will be detected while starting.
When transport is started you can switch and connect all pluto's to any port but when you stop the transport the next tx wil be on usb pluto.
Thanks dominique.

Hello Benno,
Thank you for this very detailed and professional points.
I may have a solution to test for Pluto recognition. I send you soon a file to test.
There are some cuts at startup it comes from ffmpeg which takes a few seconds to stabilize, I will try to optimize.
Thank you for this very constructive feedback which contributes to the development of our hobby.

DATV-Easy V1.0 >> Download V1.25
Hello,
After making you wait a bit, here is a first version of DATV-Easy V1.25
Thanks to all Beta testers!
I remind you that this is an amateur development based on GNU RADIO and FFMPEG and is therefore experimental!
Please read the manual before any questions!

Excellent work Dominique, no issues with the install of either your software or the lime. Working well on a i5 laptop with a RTX 2060 using a Lime mini.

Thanks very much for this release _ I have been using your FSC2.8 without any problems. This is a huge leap
Would it be possible to expand the TX range up to 6GHz for the Pluto? That would then allow DATV on 5.7Ghz
Many thanks again for all your work

Great work. It installed OK on this nvidia laptop. I will test with various laptops and see.
Not wishing to create issues but is it possible to tweak some of the more advanced ffmpeg parameters? E.g. on another screen. It can't cope as well with full HD at 333ks as my script but I am not sure why. Buffers maybe or perhaps the encoder settings. It does work but keeps exceeding the TS rate target.
Also my default FPS is 15, not 30. That's not in the drop down menu. It would ne nice if it were.

Re: DATV-Easy V1.0 >> Download V1.25
Firstly many thanks for your work on this application. I have been using the older Free Stream Coder V 2.80 with no issues. I downloaded the current version of DATV-Easy (V1.25) and it installed seemingly without errors, and when I launch it the application opens and can be modified, but when I press "Start" I get this:
"The program can't start because Api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer".
I installed the claimed missing .dll manually in C:/Windows/sysWOW64 but the error is still present.
OS is Windows 7 64 bit Pro. I am trying to run it on the same PC as is currently running Free Stream Coder fine. May I trouble you for any ideas how I might go about fixing this please, and thanks again for your work.
