First test seems promising.
No need to change jumper settings inside and not yet tested the PTT out.

Found a simple bug where the power slider is not working at all..
Power is fixed in datv mode at approx -15db.
In DATV mode all the normal settings can be done, no time for all settings tested yet.

As its a Persevere copy, you need some settings when trying the several modes...

In the pass thru mode sdr console works including the power setting.
In this mode also the datv-easy is working, including the power slider.
Remember to reboot the pluto when changing from 1 mode to the other..

So all in all, besides the power slider setting in datv mode, it looks like Phill did us a great favor compiling a pluto+ instance..

But than again with the original pluto+ firmware sdr-console and datv-easy where also working and i did not needed dvb anymore..

Happy to test the firmware

Sorry for my extended absence on this, I have been busy on other projects recently and have only just picked this back up again.

I am currently building a new version based on the latest pluto source code and will post that when done.

Super Phil look forward to your next release.

The last one works flawless with Portsdown and Langstone.
Don't know if you tried but the Pluto+ with your last release and Portsdown4 on the LAN Does 4m/s nicely.
The standard Pluto cant do >2m/s. :D Never tried USB as I only use LAN.

Thanks for sharing your work.

Things seem to have progressed so that a custom build for the Pluto+ is no longer required.

I have successfully installed the latest release of F5OEO's https://github.com/F5OEO/plutosdr-fw directly to my Pluto+ and the built-in network appears to work well. This firmware has removed the direct web interface in favour of other software control (DATV-Red seems to work well)

Interesting thanks for sharing that Phil.
Will have to give it a go are you getting gigabit on the LAN?
Your compiled version will still be the only solution for the Pluto + to run with Portsdown 4 on LAN though.
Is that correct?

Terry
