G-QRP Convention/what a difference better feeder makes....

This morning was the 'activity session' for this weekends G-QRP club annual online convention. Seeing as I can only currently run 1.5W on 71MHz I arranged with Martin G4FKK to try a QRP DATV QSO.
Since we last tried the path, I have changed my main feeder from Westflex 103 to mostly LDF4-500. Previously I have only managed a P5 using 150ks (DVB-T as the receiver is very sensitive). It worked, comfortably, so we then tried 250ks, that was only -1.5dB (+/- flutter/fading). Finally, I tried 333ks, that worked - just by the skin of its teeth.
Martin sent me the same back at just under 5 watts, so we did have a 2-way QRP DATV QSO. Audio was included in all 3 SRs so all in all, an excellent result
