Hi Mike,
I just checked again. Now seems to be fairly consant at 20% with test card and with me waving at the screen. Other station transmissions seem to be between 3 and 12%. Perhaps this is something to discuss on the net tonight. 73 Russ.

The general software is conservative. The way to get a low null rate is to push the envelope using a script. 20% is fine, really. Stop worrying about it.

Would it be possible to have a manually set image size saved in the ini file rather than have it derived from the symbol rate?

The whole point is making the setting simple...
You can change settings after selection but the advised settings are preset so you do not need to think...

If you start changing ini files you may end up creating an ffmpeg scripting witch you can change to your optimum.. But this is not simple..

Do you support AAC-HE audio?

Thanks Dominique, with the latest software version we can use now the lime SDR mini or the Adalm pluto to work on our local repeaters that still work in DVB-S and AC3.
We have now the same capabilities as an S-R systems D-ATV transmitter. 73's ON4AAH Albert

In the future may be a version with the ACC HE codec if I find a version of ffmpeg with this codec that works correctly for a bitrate greater than 2Ms

For now this codec will be available in the new DATV-Easy software.

Hi all just had Microsoft delete FreeStreamerCoder V2.80 saying its detected Win32/contebrew.A!ml, seems no way to put it on a safe list any ideas ?
