Hi,
I'm in IO83NS near to Preston in Lancs and was wondering if anyone fancied trying a DVB-T sked on 2, 70 ?
I can muster about 10 watts or more on each band using Portsdown 4 and a Lime along with a Kncuker rx preceeeded by lna and filtering etc.
Location is at sea level but with a good take off all round, 70cms would be my preferred band.
PM me if interested.

Re: DVB-T sked ??
We could give it a try, path plot shows some knife edge possibility over the top of the pennines...
10W maybe a bit low for this path but you never know!
I have 8el on 2m and 15el on 70cm - but more power on 70cm and less band noise.

Re: DVB-T sked ??
Close but not quite enough signal to noise for DVB-T.
Another day it may work.

Re: DVB-T sked ??
DVB-S2 worked better but that has 1/4 fec available.

Re: DVB-T sked ??
Hi Rob,
close but no cigar at this end ! Just done a quick test and I have a huge out of band interferring signal on 443MHz at a level of -25dBm into the WH rx - might be why I couldn't decode your signal.
I'll see if I can filter / reduce its level then we can try again for a two way - I suspect the DVB-T lock up time might be a problem given the path and qsb etc.
Still not bad for an 80 mile path over the penines and me at sea level !
