Hi Mike,
Audio latency can fix in the OBS. 73,

HI Saro
Yes - aware of this but the issue here is that the latency varies so it requires some understanding of what this offset needs to be set to in each case.

Following Colin's information I could verify that the Intel core i5 cpu (5th generation) includes Quick Sync Video and checked it is enabled in the BIOS.
Using F1EJP's script v01.15 shows these results:
H264: working, the TS report does not show mismatches, failure a.s.o.
H265: not working, the TS report comes on for a glimpse, so no chance to see what is wrong.
Does somebody has an idea whats going on/wrong ?

Unfortunately I don’t think h265 encoding was added until the 6th generation chips. Earlier chips had h264 encode only.
This table shows in a bit more detail.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Q ... d_encoding
5th gen = Broadwell
6th gen = SkyLake
H264=avc
H265=hevc

Hi Colin,
the data sheet which you found is interesting and puzzels me now. I retrieved the data for the processor at Intel.
https://ark.intel.com/content/www/de/de ... 0-ghz.html
It says in the section "graphic" Quick Sync = yes. Did I misunderstand something?

Quick sync is the name Intel has used for many years for video encoder hardware of all types. They have added more types of encoder with each generation of processors. H265 or hevc was not available before the 6th generation.
Older processors may have quick sync but that doesn’t mean they have H265.
