Hello
I am trying to get a module with ADF4351 bought in China to go. In issue 259 of the magazine I found an article by Dave, G8GKQ, and according to his instructions, I downloaded the program thincontrol.c suitable for PIC 12F629, since I had several these ICs
https://wiki.batc.org.uk/ADF435x_PIC.
This is the address from which I downloaded the thincontrol.c file.
I followed the above step by step and compiled the program to have a hex file.
Then I used a K150 loader to program the PIC: nothing to do.I tried, tried again, but the module with ADF4351 remains3 undeterred on its position, i.e. it doesn't output anything.I also did the PCB as illustrated, but not c It is nothing to do. Yet the program is crto, simple and even if I don't understand much about programming, I see that it is very simple. Anyone have an idea and can you help me? Thanks in advance.

you can test your method with the "blink" story
I mean, if you make a strap between pin 5 and 6 of the 4351 connector (on the pic board)
and in the software you insert a LED ON command ... a delay ... a LED OFF command
at least you will see if it is ok (compilation, loading pic, etc ..)
good luck
