Has anyone tried operating these amplifiers at 24V? Were your attempts successful/useful/encouraging enough to pursue?
Ideally, I'd like to be able to operate one of these from the back of the car, and 24V is much easier to organise than 28V...
Clearly, it might limit the output power available, but will it have any adverse facts other than that?
Also, do you think that it would /require/ other modifications, or do you think it could be swapped freely between 28V and 24V, allowing swapping between home/vehicle at will?

As you are only needing say 150-200W of DC input you could try one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-DC-Conver ... 2749.l2649
There are some very beefy ones avaiable too for not much money and although I am yet to use one for my Dolphin I have had one running at 10 amps in (12 volts) and 90 volts out. Just be wary of 'Chinese ratings'......

Works fine on 24V but just with reduced output power.
