Stealth Microwave SM1925-xx

Post by G8XZD-TV » Mon Jul 29, 2019 4:50 pm

Hello,

I think I have one of these - but until I can extricate it from the enclosure (multiple security screws) I can't work out
whether it is a contender for QO100 TV or whether it is more use for SSB.
Can anyone point me in any direction as to what power level options are available.
In the application it was being used (Cofdm) 1.9G-2.5G it would have been very throttled back giving a very clean 6W
I am hopeful in dvbs2 operation it might deliver something more useful, power wise..

Many thanks. Ian.

What are the last two digits of the model number?

Mike. At the moment I can't get to the side the label is (potentially) on - hence the xx - the purple heatsink is bolted to a piece of metal then the amp using security screws
I was wondering what the power options were on this model as it is likely to be well overrated as it was originally intended for dvbt - cofdm.

Typically 20w or 50W. Cant tell by looking at the outside.
