I'm down for a ft2232h mini module & Tuner.
Playing with TBS 5980 last night for first time, got down to 500KS, TransEdit & DVBViewer falling over.
Have just read forum.
Thanks Jean Pierre.

Hi Noel,
Does that mean Digilite is no longer being sold in the BATC shop once current available supplies are all gone?
I wonder if you might have meant slow instead of stopped in your post?

Re: Build your own USB tuner- will work with Tutioune
Today I can lock quickly on very low SR with my mini TiouneBox:
-----------------------------------------> SR250
with a bad signal with phase noise: with a good signal: So this little TiouneBox (NIM+FT2232H) gives very good resulT.
I just find that yet, I2C dialog is slower than using S2-1600, it will be difficult to display constellation at same time.
I have to improve the I2C dialog, hope FT2232H can do better.
But this is my first try.
What I am sure is that we have a solution to receive Low SR

Re: Build your own USB tuner- will work with Tutioune
Excellent work Jean Pierre.
Based on the demand already shown, we will be ordering some more USB modules this week and once Jean Pierre has confirmed the best tuner module we will look to order some of them.
Re Mike G7GTN's comment re Digilite sales - yes I should have said "slowed" and not stopped - I shipped some parts last week
We will look at whether we re-stock on a part by part basis when required.

Re: Build your own USB tuner- will work with Tutioune
Noel,
This is all starting to sound very much like some TV advertised magazines that don't survive. So I purchase some parts from BATC and then find can't purchase the last major part. Is Digilite a continued and supported BATC project moving forwards?

As it's not "on topic" I replied on the Digilite forum topic rather than here.

I'll get admin to delete this and your post from this topic in a couple of days.

10 USB modules ordered from Mouser for BATC shop - not sure how long delivery as they maybe dispatched from the USA.
Note - I will put 2 versions in the shop as the Digilite unit has to be programmed before dispatch by BATC - price for Digilite will remain same at £30.
The mouser price mentioned above did not include VAT so the unprogrammed unit will probably be around £24 in the shop.

Re: Build your own USB tuner- will work with Tutioune
Hello,
I got my last mini module from here:
http://fr.futureelectronics.com/fr/tech ... .aspx?IM=0
My MiniTiouner can now lock on low SR and get the TS, record it , send it via UDP.
to do now :
- finish to integrate all Tutioune possibilities (improve I2C speed to get constellations)
- test 2 other different NIM to choose the best
- write the schematic.
-give information to BATC for building the Pcb and getting good NIM.
