thanks for info.

looks like we wont even get the callsign from ham-tv showing the screen if we do a scan on transponder, just a blank screen without the no-signal indicator.
best bet is to emulate the signal locally, scan/store the channel and wait with anticipation.

Might still be possible to receive using a standard IRD if a set of SI tables are run through it defining VPID, APID etc. that tie up with the ISS transmitter.

This assumes that the IRD does not clear the tables after signal loss, which I am not sure about.

Hmmm

I wonder what DHL would charge to get a DTX1 up there? :)

Though I suppose the kit has to have some awesome checks before it gets on a rocket - do electrolytics explode in space?

(presently trying 20m band on HF with some old mains wire slung on a damp fence as a dipole...amazing how far it gets)

A new version of the software is now available that fixes that bug. If you are using Tutione then please use the latest version for the ISS.

Note: Other satellite receivers may or may not work. There is a special ISS button in the software now, see screenshot. The video received may not display on the screen, but if you record or stream the video it will record or stream OK.
