That is a possibility as I chose not to use unicode when I created the project.

Charles
just downloaded new version 1.06
I' ve got the same problem on all my computers ( fast or slow ones.. )
the audio sound is chopped..distorted
No matter what source.. webcam or Vmix, it stays the same
The video is very good, so it has to be something when coding it into the stream ?
Are other users having this same problem ?
Tnx

It is configured for a fairly low bitrate 64K (against the 192K used by the PVR-2) maybe
that has something to do with it. What receiver are you using? There maybe also be a
problem due to lip sync.

Charles, good morning
I'm using a commercial SAT receiver VU+SOLO2,
With the PVR-2 and ubuntu, or RPI 3, perfect sound..
So surely it had st to do with the encoding in Windows
I dont think it is a speed problem, seen the Video is perfect
I'm using 4167Ks, on 1280Mhz, so I dont think this is too much
Without sound, the windows solution is not usable ofcourse
Can you test this eventually ?
Tnx

Thanks, that is useful information.

The sound on Windows at my end works very well.

The big difference between the Windows version and the Linux version
is that the Windows outputs a 64Kbit audio bit stream and the PVR/Linux
outputs a 192Kbit stream. It may well be that your receiver does not
like the 64Kbit stream. I will add the option of using a 192K bit stream
in the next release of the software and see if that fixes the problem.

OK Charles
if you could do that.. for a test
What kind of receiver do you use then ?
I tested it on different receivers.. VU+, Dreambox 7020HD, and all the same problem
Perhaps the 192Kbit does it ?

So far, Tutioune, Satelink WS-6918P and an old Technomatic receiver.
Other people have used it with other devices.

The sound source must be stereo and at 48K bits/sec audio. That is all the codec will accept.

Charles
i did manage to set Vmix Audio to 48kbps, Stereo
the program will accept Vmix Audio now ( didnt know before that only 48k was accepted )
but the problem stays the same with the audio
still no progress on the distorted sound
I will check later with a Tandberg receiver, and minitoutioune and keep you informed

Charles
Tested with MiniTutiouner and sound is perfect
So it has st to do with the commercial receivers
So the option for 192K could be the solution.
tnx

Can you record a Transport stream in order to analyse the MPEG compliance and specially audio.
