All very interesting Jean Pierre, keep up the good work!

These low symbol rates are going to cause me problems with the
DATV-Express FPGA software as we have a fixed 5 MHz Nyquist
filter and I will have to do a lot of interpolation to make sure the
aliases fall outside the passband of that filter.

I have only found one card that supports ACM and that was the
TBS-6925 which is twice the price of the cards you mention.
Of course later next year the DVB-S2 extensions will be ratified
so there will be even more variables as far as DVB-S2 is concerned!

One piece of good news is that since the BATC convention an
improved pin compatible PLL/Modulator chip has been released
by Analog Devices which means DATV-Express will now operate
from 100 MHz to 2400 Mhz.
