I was talking about the WS-6979 which may not be the same as the satellite only model.

Satellite setting menu -> Polarity 18 -> 13 -> 13/18 -> OFF cycling through.

Santa delivered my WS6979 :-)

Not had too much time to play but seems a very useful box - and will be great for /p work.

One thing - I can't see how to put in a custom LNB LO frequency such as 10,000 or 0 MHz. Any ideas??

Lucky you! I had to buy my own.....

I don't think you can, you have 11 choices but not including 10000 or 0. Not sure if there are any firmware updates as it would be useful to set some of the other parameters like the DVB-T symbol rates.
