Trying out version 2.02

Post by vk3pb » Sat Jun 07, 2014 3:52 pm

I staled version 2.02 (64 bit) tonight.

I briefly had a picture but now all I get is that the transmit queue fills up to 100% and then won't transmit.

Any ideas?

cheers Peter

You could try unplugging the express card and plugging it back in.
Usually when it fills up like that it is because it can't write to the USB port.

Thanks Charles

Its now working fine.

I really only have 1 problem left now.It is that when I move my mouse a lot or click using my mouse or start up a new program, the video drops out.I'm using a quad ore so I have plenty of grunt. I have it also on the auto setting.

I looked to see if I could set the priority for the DATV Express software to the highest level but I couldn't find it in the system monitor.

If worst comes to worst I'll just set up a separate computer and that will work fine but it would be nice to sort out the problem nonetheless.

cheers Peter

Hello Peter,

Not sure what I can do about your breakup when moving the mouse about.

I just tried it on my 32 bit dual core 1.8 Ghz Lenovo Laptop (the slowest computer
I own) and I can't reproduce the problem. I can move windows about, click mice,
close apps run other apps etc and not a single dropout. So it is a bit of a mystery.
