Looking at the DATV-Express DATV XMTR Project

Post by KenW6HHC » Mon May 06, 2013 11:35 pm

I completed writing an article that provides an overview on the DATV-Express project for my local radio club newsletter (OCARC ). The article tries to provide a more comprehensive view than the blog-style postings that appear in the (sort of) monthly updates in this BATC forum. The article is called:

TechTalk109 – Looking at the DATV-Express Digital-ATV XMTR Project

As a “tease” to attract prospective readers, I have shown one of the many photos included the article’s discussions. This photo is a 16APSK digital modulation constellation achieved using the prototype DATV-Express board and project software.

A copy of this article can be found on the Orange County Amateur Radio Club library on DATV articles at

Just an update to announce that you can also download a copy of the TechTalk109 article from the new (and free) online eMagazine called CQ-DATV, as a ePUB format file (works on iPad and Android, as well as PCs). I have renamed the article as DATVtalk on CQ-DATV. If you want to read CQ-DATV on a PC, you normally need to install a free ePUB reader application program, like Calibre. CQ-DATV Issue #3 edition can be found at http://www.CQ-DATV.mobi/.
