Mike

Thanks, guess I had several settings wrong, as at sometime I defiantly had the beacon on SR1500.

Still it works, my MER about 1/2 dBs down on my Minituner or Winterhill

Thanks again

Tony

Sunday WW NET

I decided to run the net using SDR Television.
Using my 1.1M dish 2/3 signals OK 3/4 signals borderline.
A quick test today on my signal 2/3 H265
Picotuner Mer 7.3
SDR Television Mer 6.5
Beacon Test
Picotuner MER 8.9
SDR Television MER 8.4
I have noticed H264 signals comparison are close or sometimes SDR Television are higher.
Overall what an excellent program will be using it for the next WW NET.
Thanks for all who joined the Sunday WW NET.
I will try and encourage FEC 2/3 to help my 1.1M dish.

Double Side band for Sure...
Here in Europe AM -TV on 70cms is discouraged for years. 70cm band is only 10Mhz wide and with all satellite, Dstar, DMR , and even simple 433 controllers you get lots of bad eye and angry words..

Local ham had blocked several car's here at the local government building so the White collars could not go home...
He had only 100 Watt AM TV on 434Mhz... :D

So we keep using RB TV only to keep everyone happy.
And i had last week a SDR-TV signal over 80K with 10 watt on 70cm..
B5 signals with HD quality..

SDR Television beta 3 allows terrestrial working. I tried it with a pluto via USB and also via a good USB extender and was very impressed. Using a 2Mhz bandwidth in the Pluto setup configuration and a 333ksr it gave very good results. I used vMix to feed it ( via external output ) and sent my usual HD test videos. I had problems when it came to sending to a networked pluto but that might be my problem. The computer has a 4060 graphics card and sent H265. Using my laptop it was a problem due to it not supplying enough current on its USB. I will look at that again sometime.
A new beta version is coming soon.
Thank you Simon.
