VB Audio Cable setup

Hi all,

In my quest to move to H265 I've moved to DATV Easy and OBS with VB Audio cable, however I can't TX any audio, could someone give me an idiots guide to setting up? Installation went fine and VB is listed in the devices. All help gratefully received.

Hi Dave,

Go to settings in OBS
Audio
Advanced
Monitoring Device set to “ CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) click OK to Apply.
Now go to Audio Mixer in OBS and click on the two cogs bottom left.
This will open Mixer settings go to the channel or channels that you want to relay.
Under Audio Monitoring select “Monitor and Output”
Then Close that’s the audio done.

Set DATV Easy input to "OBS+VB-AudioCABLE"

Thanks for that info, I will give that a go when I put my station back together, I'm currently rejigging my Portsdown 4.
