Re: FreeStreamCoder Software to Generate Mpeg-TS Streams V2.50 NEW V2.52
Hi Henk,
Intel option needs a 6th generation or newer I5, I7 to work as the H265 encoding/decoding wasn't implemented until then.
I believe the IPTS monitor can't display H265 on the Portsdown 2020, so that is normal behaviour that you are seeing.

hi henk
I am glad it is working well for you

Re: FreeStreamCoder Software to Generate Mpeg-TS Streams V2.50 NEW V2.52
Hi Dominique,
Firstly thank you very much for producing such a useful piece of software. It is working well with my OBS and Pluto.
I have one anomaly which I I'm trying to track down. I initially had my callsign and provider set on you configuration screen and these got set correctly in my transmission. I now find that, if I try to change them, the original names remain. If I look at the Pluto transport stream analysis screen, it is still showing my old settings rather than the new ones. I've tried rebooting everything but I can't seem to make those original settings change. Could you tell me where these settings are stored and is it possible to monitor the UDP stream coming from your software?

Hi Nigel,
Your parameters are save in file mem.ini in C:\F1EJP in line CALL= and PROV=
You can delete this file for reset parameters.
Yo can monitor udp stream for test:
For example set outpout IP to 230.0.0.10 port 10000 and with VLC you can open a network stream udp://@230.0.010:10000
in VLC you can se all the stream Audio, Video and data

Re: FreeStreamCoder Software to Generate Mpeg-TS Streams V2.50 NEW V2.52
Hi Dominique,
Thank you for your reply. I tried deleting the ini file and then changing the parameters but, although I can sucessfully receive my H265 signal, the callsign doesn't get through and the MT software turns off the AutoPID switch. I also have a large number of null packets - 50%.
I tried VLC but it says it can't open the MRL I had given it. I know VLC works because I can view the o/p of the MT through the network on it.
This is probably outside the realms of your software, but if you can give me any clues it would be appreciated.

Dominique,
Don't know if your still looking for feedback on the Portsdown 4 with Pluto but I just got mine up and going. Aside from the Intel and NVidia graphics adapters in this laptop not wanting to work with FreeStreamCoder I found something that may just be me, When I have the link up and running SR333, FRC2/3 and I hit Stop in FreeStreamCoder, the Portsdown will stop sending until I hit the Transmit off button on menu 1 and back to on. Then the system will start transmitting again.

Re: FreeStreamCoder Software to Generate Mpeg-TS Streams V2.50 NEW V2.52
Hi Dominique
I have 2 PCs using V.0252.exe.
- First one is a tower with an Intel Core I7 4770K and a NVidia GTX1060
- Second one is a laptop with core I5_9300 and GTX1660 Ti
Both PC have the same ffmeg configuration and I test with 333K, 3/4, H264 and H265.
With the first PC the "led" is green with "Nvidia" and "Software". It is normal.
With the laptop, the "led" is always red !!!
Any idea ?
Thanks in advance

Alalin, I tried the FSC on my laptop, it has an NVidia and Intel graphics cards built in, neither will run in the hardware mode. Tried everything I could but apparently the NVidia GTX1600 TI (notice the TI, one's without the TI work) and the Intel UHD Graphics 630 aren't compatible. With there was a list of known working graphics cards and non-working cards so I would know what to avoid when I buy my next computer.

It will be your drivers. Make sure you have the latest drivers.
Re: FreeStreamCoder Software to Generate Mpeg-TS Streams V2.50 NEW V2.52
Running the latest drivers from NVidia and Intel on both graphics chips. Other programs like OBS are using the graphics chips without an issue but FSC just stays red when selecting either Graphic chip.
